Nov 8 New Construction Log & Video: IHC Kiddie Boat Ride #5127. I've had this model half-built for some time now, but because I had no spare IHC motors it took a while to figure out how to complete it. There'a also a video (for download only).
Oct 30 Despite Faller's financial troubles, their new Children's Merry-Go-Round (#140316) model is now available.
Oct 15 I'm currently trying to convert the motorized edition of Faller's now discontinued Ice Skating Rink kit (#382) into something resembling an Animal / Pets Show. The hope is that the mechanism designed to move skaters around on an ice rink will instead move dogs around on a stage. I'm also going to try and use the same mechanism to drive a lightweight chain (mounted underneath the stage) so that one dog can weave in and out of a line of poles. Once / if I get the mechanisms working, I'll start to build a diorama around it which will also include Faller's Polar Bear Enclosure that I built last year.
